Meet NatureBalm — Pharmacist-Made Care for Severely Dry Skin

The Best of Nature. The Standard of Pharma.

Most of the moisturizers on the shelf today are either purely cosmetic — full of synthetic fragrance and not much else — or they’re medical-grade products that work but don’t feel particularly nice to use. We kept hearing the same thing from patients with severely dry, cracked skin: I want something natural, but I also want it to actually work.

So we made one.

NatureBalm is our handcrafted, pharmacist-made balm for severely dry skin. We formulate, blend, and finish every jar in our pharmacy. It’s the kind of product we wanted to recommend — and couldn’t quite find — for years.

What’s in it (and what isn’t)

NatureBalm is built from a short list of premium organic ingredients chosen for one job: helping severely dry, cracked skin feel like skin again.

What’s in:

  • Organic coconut oil — light, deeply moisturizing, naturally antimicrobial.
  • Organic shea butter — rich, nourishing, well-tolerated by sensitive skin.
  • Calendula — soothing for irritated and inflamed skin.
  • Lavender essential oil — calming, with a clean natural scent we don’t have to fake.
  • Beeswax and vitamin E — to set the texture and protect the active ingredients.

What’s not in:

  • No parabens.
  • No sulfates.
  • No synthetic fragrances.
  • No petroleum-derived ingredients.
  • No animal testing — ever.

Every ingredient earns its place. If it doesn’t help your skin, it isn’t in the jar.

Why pharmacist-made matters

You can buy “natural” balms made by all kinds of people. What pharmacist-made adds is the part that’s invisible from the outside — but it’s the part you’d want to see if you could:

  • Ingredient sourcing. We choose pharmaceutical-grade suppliers wherever it’s available, even for products that don’t legally require it. Cosmetic-grade is the floor we don’t rest on.
  • Compounding discipline. The same techniques and quality controls we use when we compound prescription medications — clean equipment, careful measurements, batch records — get used here. It’s how we know each jar is consistent.
  • Knowing skin and medications together. If you’re on a medication that’s drying your skin out, or you’ve reacted to something in a cosmetic before, your pharmacist is the right person to talk it through with. We made NatureBalm to be one of the answers we can hand you when the rest of the shelf isn’t quite right.

The slogan on our jar — The Best of Nature. The Standard of Pharma. — is more than a tagline. It’s the line between cosmetic-shelf wellness and what we do.

Who it’s for

NatureBalm is formulated for:

  • Severely dry, cracked skin — anywhere it shows up.
  • Skin that feels rough, tight, or flaky after long days, harsh weather, or repeated washing.
  • Knuckles, elbows, knees, shins, and any patch of skin that keeps coming back rough no matter what you put on it.
  • People who don’t love synthetic fragrances and want a clean-ingredient option.
  • Anyone who wants a small daily ritual that actually feels good.

A few notes on what it isn’t: it’s not a treatment for a medical skin condition. If you have a stubborn rash, an ulcer, an infection, eczema or psoriasis that needs prescription support, or anything that needs medical attention, please come talk to us or see your prescriber — that’s a different conversation. NatureBalm is for the everyday severely dry skin that just needs consistent, well-formulated care.

How to use it

Simple is the whole point.

  1. Wash and dry the area. Best at the end of the day or after a shower, when skin is clean and pores are open.
  2. Scoop a small amount. A pea-sized portion goes a long way — start small.
  3. Massage in. Pay extra attention to the roughest patches.
  4. Cover for the deep treatment. For severely dry hands, slip into cotton gloves overnight. For other stubbornly dry areas, cover with a light layer of clothing. Locking the balm in for several hours amplifies the effect — most people see a noticeable difference within a week.
  5. Use 3–4 times a week. More often if your skin is very dry; less often once it’s back to normal.
